Your Guide to Pumpkin Patch Photos at The Girls Strawberry Patch

October 24 & 25, 2026 | Delray Beach, Florida

Fall is here, and I'm looking forward to welcoming you and your family to The Girls Strawberry Patch!

Whether you're bringing the whole family, your significant other, or your little ones, these sessions are an opportunity to spend some time together, enjoy the season, and leave with photographs you'll have for years to come.

I've put together this guide to help you prepare, find your way around the venue, and know what to expect during our time together. Please take a few minutes to read through it before your session.

Finding Your Way: Parking, Admission & Check-In

The Girls Strawberry Patch

Address: 14466 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484

The pumpkin patch is tucked behind The Girls' ice cream parlor and candy shop, so don't worry if you don't see it when you first arrive!

Here's How to Find Us

1. Park: Please park on the side of the shared parking lot closest to The Girls Strawberry Patch. This helps leave parking available for customers visiting the neighboring businesses.

2. Enter: Walk through The Girls' ice cream parlor and candy shop.

3. Check in: Continue toward the back of the building, where you'll find the outdoor admission counter.

4. Pay admission: Let the staff know you're attending a photography session with Nenfer Photography to receive the discounted adult admission rate.

5. Find me: Follow the staff's directions toward the pumpkin patch. I'll be near the pumpkin patch sign or close by if I'm finishing another family's session.

Our exact meeting spot may shift slightly depending on where I'm photographing, but I'll be nearby!

Admission Prices

Admission to The Girls is separate from your photography session.

- Adults: $10 per person (discounted admission)

- Children ages 3 and older: $9.95 per child

- Children ages 2 and under: Complimentary admission

Admission includes access to the petting zoo, where you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of farm animals. Animals are not permitted inside the petting zoo enclosures.

The venue closes at 6:30 PM, so plan accordingly if you'd like to spend additional time exploring.

Arriving on Time: *Please Read*

Each photography session is scheduled for 15 minutes, with only five minutes between appointments.

**Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled photography session.**

This allows time to park, complete admission, use the restroom if needed, and make your way to the pumpkin patch without feeling rushed.

Because sessions are scheduled back-to-back, I won't be able to extend your appointment if you arrive late. Late arrivals will have the remaining portion of their scheduled session, and missed time cannot be made up.

I want every family to receive the same care and attention during their reserved time, so staying on schedule is important.

If you're running behind or having trouble finding me, please send me a message on Instagram at @olivias_viewonlife.

A Few Things to Bring & How to Prepare

Florida's fall weather can still be warm, especially when spending time outdoors. A little preparation goes a long way toward keeping everyone comfortable.

Stay hydrated and dress comfortably.

Make sure everyone drinks plenty of water before arriving, especially young children. Choose breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, and outfits that allow you to move naturally. Refreshments are also available for purchase at the venue.

Baby wipes or a small towel

These are especially helpful for little ones! A quick wipe around the eyes, nose, or mouth before we begin can make a difference in your final photographs.

A small, familiar toy

If your child has a favorite stuffed animal or small object that helps them feel comfortable, feel free to bring it along. We can use it to encourage interaction or redirect their attention when needed.

A non-messy snack before arriving

A little snack beforehand can help keep hungry little ones happy during their photographs. Try to avoid foods that leave stains or residue on clothing or faces. Please finish outside snacks before entering the venue, as The Girls does not permit outside food or beverages. Food and treats are available for purchase on the property.

Restroom breaks

Please take care of bathroom needs before your scheduled start time so we can make the most of our 15 minutes together.

One last thing!

Before we begin, I recommend emptying pockets of phones, keys, and other bulky items that might show through clothing.

What to Expect During Your 15-Minute Session

Fifteen minutes might sound quick, but a little structure allows us to capture a variety of photographs without making the experience feel rushed.

1. We'll Begin With Family Portraits

We'll start with a few photographs of everyone together. This helps us capture those classic family portraits early, while everyone is settled and ready.

I'll help guide where everyone stands and make adjustments as needed.

2. Smaller Groupings When Time Allows

Depending on your family size and how the session is flowing, we may capture smaller combinations, such as parents together, siblings, or individual portraits.

Because each session is brief, we'll prioritize the photographs that matter most to your family.

3. The Little In-Between Moments

Some of my favorite photographs happen between the more traditional portraits.

I'll encourage small, natural movements, sometimes called micro-movements, to help create photographs that feel full of life.

That might look like:

- Walking together while holding hands.

- Looking toward your child or partner instead of directly at the camera.

- Pulling your little one in for a hug.

- Gently swaying, turning, or leaning toward one another.

- Sharing a laugh, whispering something silly, or simply interacting together.

You don't need to memorize anything! I'll guide you throughout the session.

4. Following Your Child's Lead

Children have their own personalities, moods, and ideas, and that's part of what makes family photography special.

If your little one wants to explore, needs a moment to warm up, or isn't interested in a particular photograph, we'll work with what they're comfortable doing.

Sometimes the most meaningful images come from the moments we didn't plan.

My goal is for your family to enjoy this experience, not feel pressured to create a perfect photograph.

What About the Weather or Lighting?

Outdoor photography depends on natural light, and the weather can influence where we take certain photographs.

If It's Sunny

Bright, direct sunlight can create strong shadows across faces or cause squinting.

If the sun is particularly harsh, I may suggest moving beneath a tree or into a shaded area. This allows me to work with softer light and create more evenly lit portraits.

If It's Cloudy

Cloudy weather can actually be wonderful for photography!

Clouds act as a natural diffuser, spreading sunlight more evenly and softening harsh shadows. This often creates flattering lighting that works beautifully for portraits.

There's no need to worry if the forecast calls for an overcast day.

I'll assess the available light and select locations that work best for your session.

What Happens If It Rains?

Florida weather can be unpredictable, especially this time of year!

I'll be keeping a close eye on the forecast leading up to our pumpkin patch sessions and will communicate any scheduling changes as early as possible.

If weather conditions make it unsafe to continue with our sessions, or the venue closes due to weather, we'll plan to reschedule the sessions for October 30th and 31st. I'll work with everyone affected to coordinate their rescheduled session.

If we're unable to find a rescheduled date that works for both of us, a full refund will be issued, including your retainer.

For now, all sessions will continue as scheduled unless you hear otherwise from me.

A little rain in the forecast doesn't necessarily mean we'll need to reschedule. Your family's safety and the overall experience will always come first!

Have Inspiration Photos?

If you've come across a photograph, pose, or family grouping you love, feel free to screenshot it and send it to me before your session! I enjoy seeing what catches your eye and learning what's meaningful to you.

I'll do my best to incorporate your ideas when possible. However, because of the short session time, changing lighting conditions, other visitors, and the nature of the venue, specific photographs, poses, backgrounds, or locations cannot be guaranteed. We'll work together to make the most of the time and surroundings available.

Your Photography Package & Gallery Delivery

Your Pumpkin Patch photography session includes:

- A 15-minute photography session.

- Up to five family members.

- Eight professionally edited digital images.

- A private online gallery.

- Gallery delivery within seven days of your session.

How Your Images Are Selected

After your session, I'll personally review the photographs, select your eight included images, and carefully edit them in my photography style.

Your completed images will be delivered through an online gallery within one week of your session date.

Want More Than Eight Images?

Additional photographs may be available for purchase at $15 per image.

These are entirely optional. You'll have the opportunity to purchase additional images from your gallery if there are more moments you'd like to keep.

A Little Time to Enjoy The Girls

One of the lovely things about photographing at The Girls Strawberry Patch is that your visit doesn't have to end when your session does. With admission, you're welcome to enjoy the pumpkin patch and petting zoo during the venue's operating hours. Take some time to explore, visit the farm animals, and enjoy the experience together!

Just remember that the venue closes at 6:30 PM.

Questions or Concerns? I'm Here to Help.

I want you and your family to enjoy not only the photographs we create but the experience of making them.
